It is also a subsidized rest house where priority is given to farmers and other agricultural industry personnel visiting Chandigarh. However, it's open to the general public too and has simple but well-kept AC rooms and dorm beds. It also has a huge hall where a lot of exhibitions are conducted. It is a very popular place for exhibitions in Chandigarh.
