About PN Mehra Botanical Garden

Spread over 16 acres of land, P.N. Mehra Botanical Gardens is located in Panjab University - Department of Botany and is named after its founder. The garden houses more than 1,000 plant varieties including some rare species brought from far-fetched areas of the country. Special attractions in the garden for the visitors are the Arboretum with nearly 225 species of trees; the water garden consisting of lily-ponds and vegetated with species of Nelumbium and Nymphaea.
