Aura Art Stay is an art residency cum hostel, set up within a 3-acre farmhouse area. Surrounded by tall trees and gardens, the villa can easily accommodate 12 hostellers on a twin sharing basis. The spacious rooms have very basic yet comfortable setup that brings back the hostel memories we all have lived. Wi-Fi is the only luxury you will get here.

For people who love exploring the outdoors, Aura Art Stay is perfect. Here, you can wander about the gardens, curate music, do some art, try your hand at a few games, and also cozy up by campfires by night. Surrounded by the rooms, there is this perfect small courtyard with a fireplace to chit chat with friends, fellow travelers, and artists in-house. But if you are looking for some quiet time, you can head to the Veda, the backyard of the villa. They have named this place Veda for a reason, here you can grab a book, throw yourself in a hammock and relax all day.

The Villa also offers large outdoor spaces to work in, as well as a fully equipped Art Studio to paint, sketch, sculpt or potter around in. The studio is the creative space, where you are free to discover the art within you and around you and express it through the medium you find most suitable. Since the team is always on the front of initiating art, they offer you the walls and even doors of the rooms to use as your canvas. You can set up your spot anywhere. Now isn’t that being so generous of them? So go on and bring out that creativity where ever possible.

Oh, there’s even pottery classes you can sign-up for. Or if you’re pre-skilled, this place is a haven to practice at – no disturbances, just inspiration.

The Art Studio does provide some basic materials to work with and has equipment for pottery; sculpting, airbrushing, woodwork, painting etc. They also have canvas, clay, and scarp for sale, but you can bring your own material too. And in case you want helpers such as welders and carpenters to help you with your work, they provide them at a certain cost.

Apart from just relaxing here with perhaps a pottery class or two, it’s also a very inspiring place to get into the fitness zone. And no, thankfully there’s no gym but plenty of room to practice yoga.

There are many other activities besides art that you can pursue at Aura. Take a dip in the pool or explore the village on a bicycle; Play badminton, football or basketball with your friends, or just chill around and have a good time.
