Diwali, the festival of lights when all homes are lit with clay lamps, candles, lanterns, fairy lights, and firecrackers lit the sky as people rejoice. But we go back to the history, Lord Rama was not welcomed with the sounds of crackers upon his return, he was welcomed with the serene lights of diyas. So why are we desecrating the original tradition which was followed then? Why does every single household need to buy a ton of firecrackers, just to enjoy Diwali? Over the years, the bursting of firecrackers has reached high noise levels during Diwali.

So the team of ShoutLo, felt like it’s our duty to remind everyone that Diwali is a festival of lights, not noise and smoke.
