Gachibowli- The New Side Of Hyderabad
Gachibowli is the new face of Hyderabad which is still in the making. It is the modern version of one of the most heritage and ethnic cities of India. The first things that come to our mind whenever we think about Hyderabad are Biryani, Charminar, Golconda Fort, Pearls and by that, an image of Royal ethnic India gets created in our mind. Isn't it? We all always have that similar kind of imagination of this city which will definitely not have anything to do with modern fast Gen Y lifestyles. But visit Gachibowli once and your whole perception of Hyderabad will change. Yes! You shall experience the touch of modernization to the heritage city of India.
Take a trip and know the modern circle of the city of Nawabs-
Gachibowli is the young growing IT sub-hub of Hyderabad situated in Serilingampally mandal of the Rangareddy district. The place is just beside the bigger IT hub of the city that is a Hi-Tech city. The young IT sub-hub is growing in all verticals. Starting from IT offices to hotels and hospitality to education and even Medicare hospitals. Big IT giants like TCS, Infosys, Amazon, Microsoft IBM are having their major operating offices here. Big hotels like Hyatt, Lemon tree, Indus palm hotel, ISTA group are having their mark in this area. It's growing in education as well. Institutes like Indian school of business, IIIT, National Institute of Tourism and Hospitality Management are present to light the ray of education here. Well, known hospitals like Continental and Himagiri also came in with big investments.
Bunch of energetic youth-
As the area is mainly filled with IT office, the major chunk of the population is the young energetic crowd in their twenties. These people are coming from different parts of the country- Delhi, Mumbai, Punjab, Kerala, Kolkata, Banaras and where not. This cosmopolitan population and a blend of numerous cultures is making Gachibowli an amazing place to live. When asked one such person about her feelings for the place, she described how she has got attached to this place. As per her words, Gachibowli is the reflection of modernization with a hint of heritage, a funky place to hang out with the touch of royalty. She always addresses Gachibowli as the young Nawab in his Ferrari. According to her, it's a very safe place for girls and at the same time a very happening place to party and enjoy. A wonderful place to work and a superb place to enjoy. It has already become a place full of good sports stadiums, clubs, discos and what not. Impressed? Already?
Transportation-
Being a part of Greater Hyderabad, the transportation for the commoners starts with TSTC buses, followed by auto-rickshaws, private taxi services like ola, uber and private cars. As the main population of this part of the city is people living a fast life, a high number of private cars, bikes, and cabs are what we can see as the majority in roads. Though the roads are very much planned but with the growing number of cars and bikes has already started causing traffic jams at peak times of the day.
It's a place where the entire living experience is very good for anyone who comes in for work. Starting from the roads to travel, houses to live, foods to eat, the entire city life in this emerging tech hub is becoming more popular to the commoners and eventually attracting the young brigade more and more. The saturation of IT industry in Bangalore is resulting the opportunity of Hyderabad to grow as an IT start of southern India. And Gachibowli has grabbed the opportunity at the right time.
With great potentials come different complexities and problems. Few say the fast-growing city life is taking away the true heritage of Hyderabad. And few stats predict the exponentially growing number of people and cars may lead Gachibowli to a congested and saturated city soon. But all said and done we can't deny appreciating the growth of Gachibowli in such a small span of time and we see an amazing IT based city coming up in no time. So far we have experienced a very good combination of planning, modernization, heritage, safety, work opportunity, growth and we see a bright future ahead.
