Zakir Hussain Rose Garden

This garden has been named after President Dr. Zakir Hussain. It is the largest of its kind in Asia and is spread over 27 acres. There are around 17, 000 varieties of plants among which there are 1600 varieties of roses!

PN Mehra Botanical Garden

Spread over 16 acres of land, P.N. Mehra Botanical Gardens is located in Panjab University - Department of Botany and is named after its founder. The garden houses more than 1,000 plant varieties including some rare species brought from far-fetched areas of the country. Special attractions in the garden for the visitors are the Arboretum with nearly 225 species of trees; the water garden consisting of lily-ponds and vegetated with species of Nelumbium and Nymphaea.

Hibiscus Garden

This garden in Chandigarh is spread over an area of 8 acres and there are more than 40 different varieties of hibiscus in the garden. The garden looks colorful throughout the year with a variety of Hibiscus shrubs.

Garden of Palms

Developed on an area of 19.50 acres, Garden of Palms is a theme-based garden in Chandigarh that boasts 21 different varieties of palm trees. The garden also has rivulets, benches, huts, a cycling track, and eating joints.
