Probably one of the most famous tourist attractions in Chandigarh, which considering the vast array of beautiful locations we have is no minor feat at all, the Sukhna Lake is situated in Sector 1 in Chandigarh. Its roots trace back to as old as 1958, where it was created by damming the Sukhna Choe, a stream that originates from the Shivalik Hills and flows occasionally. Its incredible beauty is not its only underlying feature.
