The notable singer has made her strong presence felt in Bollywood and Pollywood lately. Neha Kakkar definitely knows how to steal the show with her unusual and unparalleled singing talent. The very talented and versatile playback singer stepped into the music industry with her stint in the famous and foremost singing reality show Indian Idol. It was Neha Kakkar’s sheer struggle and hard work that helped her to carve a niche for herself in the music industry. The hit maker machine, Neha Kakkar was in class 11 when she participated in the singing reality show India Idol season 2 in 2006, there was no going back for this extraordinary singer then.

Today’s youth sensation, Neha Kakkar stepped into the playback business in 2009 with the title track of ‘Blue’ from the movie ‘Blue’. She delivered her first super hit track ‘Second Hand Jawani’ from the movie ‘Cocktail’ in the year 2012. From there on, the foundation for her success story was laid. She went on to deliver hit numbers like ‘Dhating Nach’ from ‘Phata Poster Nikla Hero’, ‘Sunny Sunny’ from the movie ‘Yaariyan, ‘London Thumakda’ from the movie ‘Queen’ and ‘Aao Raja’ from the movie ‘Gabbar is Back’ and many more. The list of her super hit tracks is not limited to Hindi lyrics and Bollywood, Neha Kakkar has successfully delivered some super hit tracks with some Punjabi music composers and singers, ‘Pyaar Te Jaguar’ and ‘Wedding Da Season’ are two such fine tracks. The ‘Kar Gayi Chull’ and ‘Kala Chashma’ hitmaker stays true to her roots and loves Punjabi culture and the language. Before commencing her Bollywood career, Neha Kakkar used to accompany her sister, Sonu Kakkar to various Jagraans where both of them used to perform. While recalling her earlier days of struggle on a reality show Neha Kakkar revealed that her dad used to sell samosas outside her sister’s college. Neha Kakkar sure credits her participation in the show Indian Idol as a turning point in her life. 

From starting out as a participant and now a judge in a reality show for kids called Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Lil Champs Season 6, Neha Kakkar’s talent knows no bounds. The super talented singer has come a long way and there’s so much more stored in for her. Her next Punjabi single ‘Ring’ is coming out on April 21.
