When people ask me “Am I veg or non-veg?” I proudly answer “I’m a pure Non-Vegetarian.” 

Every foodie who has been to Ludhiana would agree with me on the fact that we get the best non-vegetarian dishes here. From roasted chicken to fish seekh, butter chicken to meat malai…You get these under 500-600 bucks. Yes… Exactly.

Prakash Dhaba 

An old-time favorite, Prakash Dhaba has got some secret ingredient that makes him stand out at the top. One never gets satisfied and keeps continuing coming back. This Dhaba has an array of choices to choose from. 

Must Try- Meat Malai and Prakash Spcl Chicken Malai.

Laddu Fish & Chicken Corner 

If you are a die-hard lover of fish, then this is your stop. Once a rehri, it grew into a shop and now offers a family dining. Prefer to get the dishes packed since enjoying it at home would be worth. 

Must Try- All Fish Items, egg Pakora and Butter Chicken

Chawla Chicken 

The bachpan place where we cousins would without any second thought order the special Cream Chicken and ask our mothers to keep making chapatis since we would be ready to burst out tummies. Wink..! 

Must Try- Cream Chicken and Tandoori Chicken

La-Tandoori Chicken 

Perhaps the hidden jewel of the town, it rolls the world’s best Keema Naan and Butter chicken. Serving since two generations, the place is cheap at twice the prize yet heavy on the tummy. I ensure you’ll want more of it. 

Must try- Keema Nan and its gravy, Butter Chicken 

Location- Fountain Chowk, Civil Lines, Ludhiana 

Opening Hours- Noon to 10 PM 

Chicken Plaza 

Still, some other place to scarf out is the famous Chicken Plaza.Value for money and taste buds, it serves cheap and cheerful non-vegetarian. Apart from this, its veg bullets are must try. 

Must try- Chilly Chicken and Karahi Chicken 

Location- Yes Bank Road, Opposite Red Light, Gate 3, PAU, Ludhiana

White Pearls 

Situated along the famous Malhar road, one of the oldest shops of our times, it supplies the best raw chicken, marinated chicken, and other items. To boot, it cooks food items that will sparkle your eyes and mouth water your taste buds. 

Must Try- Chicken Burger, Malai Tikka 

Location- 42 F, Near Welkom Palace, Sarabha Nagar, Ludhiana 

Opening hours- 10 AM to 10:30 PM 

Baba Chicken 

I know you must be wanting it on top of the leaning. And yes, could not afford to miss this out. Though the price of its famous dish- butter chicken exceeds the limit mentioned in the article (costs around INR650), but it's still a must taste. Ask any Ludhianvi, and the first thing they’ll mention would be Baba Chicken.
