Give Life, Give Blood at Peddlers 22nd Blood Donation Camp

Organizing blood donation camps is the perfect way to cater to the demand of blood. Everyone wants to contribute towards the society and save lives. Peddlers, as a camp organizer, are giving everyone a chance to do so.

Peddlers is an enterprise pioneered towards not just a vibrant city nightlife but involve itself actively in social causes. At Peddlers, they have been organizing Blood Donation Camps and bringing smiles to many faces, for the past 21 years in collaboration with PGI Chandigarh, Blood Donation Society. This 12 July 2017, the camp runs into its 22nd year and they plead for the vibrant city goers to come donate, support and campaign for this noble cause.

Why should you donate blood?

1. Every year our nation requires about 4 crore units of blood, out of which only a meager 40 Lakh units of blood are available

2. Every two seconds someone needs blood.

3. More than 38,000 blood donations are needed every day.

4. More than 1 million new people are diagnosed with cancer each year. Many of them need blood on daily basis, during their chemotherapy treatment.

5. A single car accident victim can require as many as 100 units of blood

So, let's ensure no more lives are lost due to the paucity of blood. With kindness & hope in our hearts, let's move towards a brighter and safer future for you, I and us.
