Every week there is something new to look forward to here, and now, we are super excited about Playground Bar, and Cafe that’s gonna make our weekends amazing. Yes, peeps! Our very favorite Playground Chandigarh is now in Sector 26, but this one is something extraordinary. After making a statement in Elante Mall, this place provides energetic vibes and is the perfect place for a casual weekday lunch as well as a weekend party night!

What Makes It Awesome

Quirky interiors, a huge outdoor space with an open-air bar, a performance stage, live sports screening, great music by DJ, a full-service bar, an exciting multi-cuisine menu, and zesty cocktails; you possibly can't ask for more. Still looking? We assure you, with a very Bohemian vibe, the ambiance of this bar will make you wanna stay along through the night.

Claiming to be bigger and better, Playground 26 have the most vibrant ambience with two very unique entrances. The first thing you notice when entering from the front entrance of Playground is a long tunnel lined with liquor bottles in front of illuminated mirrored shelves and roof, creating a tranquil and a loud lit atmosphere. Yes, peeps the front entrance is huge, grand and not to be missed. With quirky taglines like "Alchohol You Later" and "There is More Than Light At the End of the Tunnel", the entrance is a 50 feet long, 3 feet wide and 20 feet high tunnel-like passage, lined with more than 2,000-odd empty liquor bottles of top brands on either side.

The back entrance is again a huge surprise where you would experience the 90's era. Yes, all you 90 borns, get excited 'cause the back entrance is designed like a 90's style Music Shop stacked with empty cassette labels of the music of the era, complete with music system and speakers, television set, etc.

The entrance further opens into an expansive vibrant space with quirky drinking signs, color blocked wooden furniture, beautiful cane lanterns, wall mounted-planters, vibrant lighting, a fully stocked bar, a pizzeria with a wood-fired oven on one side, and a performance stage designed as a tree house on the other which makes the place makes it more enduring and fascinating. And wait there’s more, as you walk inside, you cannot help but notice the large-sized portraits of the poster boys of world politics – Donald Trump, Vladimir Putin, and Kim Jong-un.

So whether you looking for a casual seating with a group of friends or a dinner date with your partner, the place is perfect for both.

When you talk about the menu, Playground provides you with handcrafted sophisticated cocktails. Also, it offers you with wallet pleasing fusion of traditional Indian food to some of the best Italian dishes. Incorporating different flavors in the mainstream dishes and drinks is the ‘forte’ of Playground.

Watch out for their amazing cocktails like Khatranak, Banaras, XOXO, Gym Tonic and Black Magic and many more which are both, tasty and heady mixes. A must-try drink here is Daily Dose which is a combination of whiskey, black tea, lime juice, orange crush, and apple juice. 

If these boozy concoctions weren’t enough, you could opt for International and domestic liquor, plenty of beer and wine and more. Nothing can keep you thirsty once you’re here.

And to go with these amazing drinks, they have a menu with bar nibbles and munchies. That’s right! You can now have a boozy evening at Playground while munching on delicious yummies like Chakna and Papad Tray. They have a nicely curated food menu with fusion cuisine that balances vegetarian and non-vegetarian options to keep both cohorts satisfied. They do Italian, burgers, sandwiches, Indian, and pre-plated meal options as well to satisfy almost every craving that one may have.

We suggest you try their BBQ Chicken wings, also known as Buffalo wings, Chicken and sun-dried tomato risotto, Aglio Olio Spaghetti, Malai Chicken Tikka, Hyderabadi Mutton Dum Biryani, and more. Vegetarians, try their Khumb Multani, Tandoori Pineapple chaat, Rimjhim Seekh, and Cheezy Jalapenos Sticks. Also, for the health conscious people, their salads are amazing as well.
