I, you, in fact, we all have heard this famous saying but I would suggest a modification in it and will portray it as:

 ‘The way to EVERYONE’S heart goes through the stomach’.

Perhaps, what food can do to our souls, nothing else can even do half of it. But I understand the pain of lazy weeknights, the hectic 9 to 5 schedules and that hunger that does not allow us to relax on our couches. And in that case, you either think of ordering something from out or making a super-fast dish.

But what if you are running short of easy-to-go recipes? Well, we are here to help you while offering these quick recipes that will need only your 15 minutes.

Nutella Cake for all Nutella lovers

Steps to prepare it:

1. Mix 1 cup of refined flour, ½ cup sugar, 1 tbsp baking powder into a bowl that can be used for the microwave.

2. Then take another bowl, whisk an egg and add ½ cup oil and Nutella to it. Mix well.

3. Mix the ingredients in one bowl to another and keep the added mixture in the microwave for about 3 minutes.

4. Ensure to check the cake keeping 30-seconds interval. And there your Nutella cake is ready!

Bread Upma

This is the best way to turn a free yet fresh loaf of bread into a yummilicious snack. For this you need – Bread slices to be cut into small squares, onions(chopped), beans, carrots(chopped), peas, salt, turmeric powder and green chili powder.

Steps:

1. Take a pan, add oil and heat it. Then add all the chopped veggies and saute them for few minutes.

2. Add spices as per your taste and mix well.

3. Then add bread pieces and let it cook for few minutes until you see crispness in them.

4. Squeeze lemon on top and serve!

Deadly combo of Broccoli and Almonds

Steps:

1. Use the broccoli without stalk and have it into florets. Then boil it for 2 to 3 minutes.

2. Take a large pan and toast almonds until brown and then add garlic and stalks that you have separated from florets.

3. Then add florets and cook till you could feel the tenderness in broccoli. Add salt for seasoning and serve immediately.

Raw mango salad

Steps:

1. Take raw mango and grate them.

2. Then toss the ingredients like grated onion, mint, sugar, red chili and soya sauce into the raw mango.

3. Add crushed peanuts on the top and serve it with lettuce base.

Fresh fruit dessert

Steps:

1. For this, of course, you will need some of your favorite fruits like chopped apple, kiwi, pineapple, and grapes. Add them together in a bowl.

2. Then take strawberries, yogurt, and honey and grind them in a blender.

3. Pour this mixture of strawberry and yogurt on the top of fruits mentioned in step 1

4. What next? Garnish the dessert with peeled almond’s slivers.

Sweet corn chaat

This one is my favorite recipe and yes, damn easy to prepare.

Steps:

1. Take corn kernels and mix them in corn flour.

2. Deep fry them until crispy and golden brown and place them aside.

3. Later add salt, green chilly, chopped onions and tomatoes, lemon juice, crushed peanuts, chaat masala, and coriander.

And Corn chaat is ready to binge on!

Quesadilla from leftover rotis- wholesome and filling snack

Steps:

1. Firstly, take chopped onions, tomatoes, capsicum and olives and add spices like salt, red chili to the ingredients. Also, add red chili sauce to taste.

2. Take a pan and add butter. The take a roti, add the filling of ingredients and cheese slice to it.

3. Place the filled roti on the pan and cook it from both the sides until you see cheese to be melting.
