Sarahah app is taking the internet by storm. It is creating trend waves and controversy waves. The app is simply a platform where one can confess anonymously to anyone who is a registered member. There are many similar apps like sayat.me, ask.fm, etc. The new social media fad is Sarahah. The website states that it is for constructive anonymous feedbacks, but the scenario is turning to be very different people are insulting, shaming and bullying people.

The base of this app is in Saudi Arabia where a developer namely Zain-al-Abidin Rawfiq brought this concept. Initially, this application was developed for employers who could send feedback to the employees and also for the employees who could do the same. But this app spread like wild fire in the virtual world. People are going crazy after this app. From politicians to journalists, writers to teens everyone has grown very fond of this app.

Many people in the society always seek social approval, and this makes them weak as a person. Being confident about oneself is not that easy as well. People use social media to escape the harsh realities, but social media too leads to stress and anxiety. The isolation that we see in today's life is a primary outcome of social media.
