A field hockey stadium situated in Chandigarh, Punjab, which was started in 1988, the Chandigarh Hockey Stadium is the go-to place for several hockey fans around the country. Spread over 38 acres, it is an under construction cricket stadium that will offer a seating capacity of 38,000. The stadium will have 16 entry and exit gates with parking facility for 1,600 vehicles, food court, in-house club and facilities to aid persons with special needs. It is expected that stadium would be ready by the year 2020.
