It was earlier known as the Zakir Hussain Rose Garden, in the loving memory of the former president of our nation Zakir Hussain. Asia's largest rose garden is an achievement within itself, an accolade which this garden rightfully deserves. Spread over an area of over 30 acres, having 50,000 rose bushes of a whopping 1600 different species of rose, that too having quite a few rare ones, the garden is a sight to behold.

Rose Festival- the Rose Garden serves as the hosting place for the annual Rose Festival held during February/ March. The festival is a tribute to the beauty of the rose and it's species, in a way the celebration of all that makes it beautiful and all it stands for. It includes joyrides, drinks, foods, events, and competitions like that of photography, gardening, landscape, bonsai, and others. The event is open to residents of neighboring areas.
