Harish Verma is back. After the success of Krazy Tabbar, the actor has displayed a newly found suavity which makes him the highlight of pretty much every film that he's in. And it's always a bonus when a familiar cast works together, and in this case, it's the elegant duo of Yograj Singh and Harish Verma. Both display a profound sense of comical timing and emotional strain at the perfect time, managing to make you laugh your heart out in one scene, and pull your heartstrings in the other. So are we confident that you're going to love the film as much as we did? You bet we are.

thug life movie review

Featuring the ensemble cast of Jass Bajwa, Ilana Dhillon and Rajiv Thakur along with Singh and Verma in lead roles, the film is directed by Mukesh Vohra, who succeeded in combining the elements of a masala flick and an all out comedy into a successful and delightful venture. From screenplay to editing, the film follows the lines of perfection, dealing in matters with light-hearted satire that is sure to impress you. Revolving around the story of three boys and a girl, who have big ambitions, and dream of making a mark in life, Thug Life focuses on the mishaps they face in their bid to become famous. From wrongly being labeled terrorists to blackmailing the wrong crowd into helping them, the young cast is able to convert almost any scenario into a gang-ridden plot given the cast's incredible comical timing and wit.

After being wrongly accused, it's up to the three guys to prove their innocence or face the consequences. Much of the film is about how the three try bringing themselves to justice. As good as the screenplay, editing and comical acting of the movie manages to steer them clear of a major disappointment, the film falters on account of weak directing, poor production and barely a promotional work. But that doesn't stop the film of being a success.
