Kheerganga trek is a nature's paradise with stunning views of the snow-clad Himalayas and the glorious roar of the Parvati River. You may start your journey from Chandigarh to Kasol by road, and reach Barshaini which is 20 km away. From here, the trek is 10-12km and can be covered via three different routes. The first route is the shortest one that passes through Nakthan Village and takes only 3-4 hours to reach Kheerganga. You will get to witness the pristine Parvati River on the left side of the trek on this route. The second route is through Kalga Village which goes through dense forests and joins the original route after a few km. And, the last route goes from the Tosh Village which joins the original route near Nakthan Village. On this route, you will get to witness the Tosh river that meets the Parvati River. On the way, you will also find a serpent-shaped waterfall, which is very famous by the name of Rudra Nag Waterfall. And, all these trail passes through dense pine forests and leads you to the natural hot water spring on the top known as Parvati Kund.

Hampta Pass

Surrounded by dense forest of pinewoods and rhododendron, snow bridges, and serene meadows, Hampta Pass trek is one of the most exciting and thrilling trekking trail, to embark on. It is a confluence of three paths – Hampta Pass, Rohtang Pass and Spiti with lush green valley of forests, grasslands and flowers blooming on one side of the trail and almost arid, stark landscape of beautiful yet deserted Lahaul, with barren mountains. You can drive from Chandigarh to Manali and reach Jobra, the basecamp of the trek and and begin the trek from here. The 26 km trek takes 3–4 days to complete with stops at Chika, Balu ka Gera, and Chatru. Though, the trek ends at Chatru but you must visit Chandratal lake - a crescent moon shaped alpine lake which is 70 km from Chatru, and can be traveled by a reserved vehicle.

Kareri Lake

Situated in the majestic Dhauladhar range, Kareri Lake is a shallow, freshwater lake rugged amidst mountains with greenery all around. The trek starts from Kareri Village which is a 2 hour drive from Dharamkot. The 25 km trail traverses through dense conifers of chirr and chilgoza pines, lush pasturelands, and exotic perennial flowers,offering the most scenic views. Once you reach at the lake, you can also hike up to Gajj, which is another 30 minutes trek from the lake.
