Movie Review:Vekh Barataan Challiyan
Vekh Barataan Challiyan narrates the story of Jaggi and Sarla, aptly played by the leads Binu Dhillon and Kavita Kaushik. It's basically the love story of two Jaats, one from a family of rags, while the other from a well to do society. Like a majority of the films that are being made in today's age, this one involves the fairy tale lovey-dovey scenario where the two leads fall irrevocably in love with each other. I mean, who'd see that coming. Both decide to get marrying. However. The lady's father will only allow this to happen if both their horoscopes match (groans). Will the two experience their love blossoming? Or will it end almost as soon as it started? That I leave it for you to watch.
Though their love story falters, this film has an added advantage. The humor. And luckily, that's enough to save the movie. Not just save it but make it a rather enjoyable watch. The lead cast will have you rolling on the floor pretty much throughout the film, and that's what makes it so entertaining. No one is looking for a love story to work, because all movies today can achieve is being corny and clichéd.
With Binnu Dhillon and Kavita Kaushik giving their best as the cast, Ranjit Bajwa will have you guffawing at his comedic talent and innovative punchlines that'll make this film stand out in the crowd of mass entertainers.
With brilliant music, the most laughs you'll experience and a believable storyline, this entertainer is meant for the family.
