Yaana a Tech Startup that believed in making cities eco-friendly and less congested has installed 20 dock stations under the PBS (Public bicycle sharing) system with 200 cycles equipped with the GPS tracking system and smart locks. And when you are done, park the bike at a designated Yaana parking station near to your destination, manually lock the bike and press end ride button in the app.

Things You Need To Know Before You Start Your Ride

* There are 200 bicycles at 20 docks, all over Panchkula city

* The bicycles will be operational for 14 hours from 6 am to 8 pm.

* The bike has a QR code at two places: at the centre of its handle and below the seat. You can scan either.

* If you log in with a code, you will get your first ride free. The MC Commissioner’s code is 17DM65.

*People who are thinking to use the service frequently can avail different membership options

* Minimum membership -Rs 100, which will have 50 rides of 30 minutes each, and will be valid for 30 days

*Maximum membership available - Rs 1,000, which will have 2000 rides of 30 minutes, which is valid for a year

* You will be charged a fine of up to Rs 25,000 if the bike is damaged or you are found trying to steal it

* The bicycles are equipped with a global positioning system (GPS) tracking and the control room keeps a watch on all bikes through the GPS chips

* The bikes can be picked up from and dropped off at any bike station

* The app tells you the distance you can cover and the calories you burn
