Shirdi Sai Baba Temple is a haven for the Sai Bhakhts, this temple is open to all its loyal visitors for 24 hours, seven days a week. Although it's particularly on Thurdays that the temple witnesses an exceptionally large number of devotees pouring in to be a part of the evening aarti and offer their prayers as it is considered extremely auspicious and sacred. The land for the beautiful Shirdi Sai Baba temple was allotted in the year 1989 and the founder member of the temple Late Shri I P Mehta along with his colleagues played a vital role in its establishment. The idol was originally brought from Jaipur. Thereafter it was taken to Shirdi for due worship & pooja and finally brought and placed in Chandigarh and the rest is history. The unshakable and extremely firm belief of the Sai Bhakts and their devotion is exemplary and needs to be witnessed, to be felt.
