Frequently Asked Questions About ATES Program

How should I get enrolled in the ATES program?
You need to use the above registration link to enroll for the program. Post registration, we will reach out to you with venue details. You need to attend the training with one of our training partners and clear the assessment & assignment to become an ATES.

Can anyone join the ATES program?
There is no entry barrier for you to become an ATES. However, you would need a basic level of proficiency using computer applications such as Microsoft office and internet.

What is the duration of training?
Currently, it is 16 hours of training. This is covered in 2 days through classroom training with one of our offline training partners. You also have the option to learn it yourself through online training partners.

After I complete the training Will Amazon connect me to sellers? Or will I need to find them myself?
For launching new sellers you would need to generate your own leads.
For supporting an existing seller, Amazon will give you seller leads as and when available.

What is my payment schedule? Do I need to sign a contract with the seller?
For all sellers launched on Amazon.in in a month, you will be paid by the 15th of next month.
For servicing existing sellers you can set your own terms, which are agreeable to both you and seller. Amazon will not be a part of these terms and conditions

What are my work timings?
You decide your own work timings. You decide how many hours and how many seller clients you want to take up. The more clients and hours you can dedicate, the more you can earn.

Can I charge the sellers basis my pricing?
For launching new sellers, you will be paid by Amazon and you should not ask the seller to pay you. However, for helping existing sellers you will charge the sellers based on a rate card that will be shared with you.

Am I working for Amazon or the Seller?
Neither. You are a consultant offering your services to businesses on Amazon.in. Amazon helps you get trained and certified so that you can offer high-quality services to such businesses.

If I need to, can I opt out of the program?
Yes, you need to notify us anytime you want to opt out of the program.

Detailed Scope of Work:

1. Seller Qualification: The partner will identify eligible sellers who fulfill the following criteria:
   1. is interested in selling on the Website;
   2. has a valid GSTIN Number to sell online
   3. is intending and capable of selling products in different product categories on the Website; and
   4. Has a valid email address and internet connectivity to manage his/ her online business.
2. Registering and Launching Sellers on the Website for Selling on Amazon (“SOA”)
3. Training sellers for managing various aspects of Seller Central including:
   1. Inventory Management, Managing Prices, Adding new inventory
   2. Shipping Charges & Settings
   3. Notification Preferences & Communicating with Customers
   4. Order Management
4. 90 Days Post Launch Sales Support: The partner will handhold sellers through his initial 90 days post launch on Amazon.in to ensure that sellers understand Amazon processes thoroughly. Also partners will be given seller specific actionable inputs from time to time from Amazon and partner will be expected to work with the sellers to get the same implemented.
