About the event

Learn the art of Faux Marbling by Rekha Saharan on this Virtual Art Workshop happening on 22nd & 23rd May 2020, one hour each day from 5 pm to 6 pm.

Faux Marble Inlay Art

It is a special type of age-old art of decoupage in which colored glossy papers are glued on an object and rubbed with Acetone/Nail Paint Remover to lighten the printed ink and give it a marbled effect. Rekha incorporated the Inlay Work effect with this by painting various motifs with acrylic/metallic colors on the decoupaged surface. This art can be very conveniently used on various surfaces like plastic, metal, wood, and glass. This can be used to create a base for new projects or to give a makeover to old worn-out ones. Your creativity and imagination in using this art form can create wonders!
