Ever wondered what else Goa, your most loved party destination is famous for? Think! Think!... It’s food, my folks… Apart from the fabulous shorelines and crazy parties, Goa's outstanding food is another major attraction. It is a mix of three societies- Hindu, Muslim, and Christian.
And the Maratha Place, the place that acquainted us with the Vada Pav, holds some zesty and tasty flavors that are irresistible and superb.
Just imagine, experiencing nearly the entire India on one plate… Sounds yum to me… But ek issue hai… I can’t go to Goa or Maharashtra right away… Now what… Naaahhh… Don’t worry… As they both are gearing up to meet us… Yes, You read that right…
The Goan and Konkan Fest is good to go to tickle your taste buds for a gourmandizing affair.

Before I move ahead, One thing is for sure… It’s purely for foodies like me… Yayy…!!! Well, It’s time, I cut the crap… Never mind…. So we are discussing this Fest, which is certain to entice your tongue map and swish-swash-swoosh your senses. Here we go…
*Get greeted with the Signature Maharashtrian Drinks- Kokam Cooler and Soal Kadhi. While the former is Kokam blended smoothly with Lime and Soda, the latter one is a vivacious drink that combines Kokam with Coconut Milk, spiked with the Indian Herbs. Whoa! Mark my words, these drinks truly deserve to be tasted.
*Ala Carte Menu that includes more than 10 Special Dishes that represent Goa and Maharashtra culture in their actual structures. You will undoubtedly get the Goan Feel the minute these unique dishes make a passage.
*First of its kind- The Testers Menu- Well, this is something different. Perhaps, a boon for foodies (Coz Food is our Religion… Hi-Fi) who want to try multiple dishes. The Menu includes 6 Items that are priced @1199+ Taxes.
*Get close to the sea and taste the Goan Seafood that transcribes the Portugal culture viz Portuguese Cuisine. The aroma, the freshness and last but not the least, the flavors will overwhelm you letting you taste the yummiest Seafood here. Can’t wait no more…
*Malvani Cuisine - The unique blend of Maharashtra, Goa and some parts of Karnataka, gladly shape Malvani Cuisine. For somebody who swears by non-veg, the Fish and Chicken dishes are the hearty creations that need to be tasted.
Vegetarians… Did we miss you… nahhh…
*For all the vegans in the house- The Mangalore cuisine would serve vegetarian dishes and the seafood as well. The cuisines have got an Indian touch to themselves…(Phew! Chandigarh wasiyo ke liye acha hai… Haha…)

*Welcome Drink- The Fizzy drink, Kokum Fizz is a unique blend of Kokum with Lime, Salt, and Soda.

Summing up the Goan and Konkan Food, these creations (if we go by names) have already impacted my taste buds in a way that I can feel all the tangy-ness and the sweetness that Goa and the respective parts are famous for. And I guess you are also energized.

Gourmet Nine- A Food theatre, is a multi-cuisine restaurant that offers a myriad of food items. The place holds basic yet strong masterpieces that gel well with the simplistic furniture. A projector screen for the entertainment, the background soft music, and the dim lightings recreate a never-ending gourmet experience to die for.
The Man Behind Gourmet Nine- Aditya Prabhu
Aditya Prabhu is the pillar behind Gourmet Nine. Passionate about food, he left his comfortable job to play his masterstroke of opening this premium restaurant. The name Gourmet Nine was coined keeping in mind the nine cuisines which are served here. Aditya, an enthusiast in the food industry, believes in living his dreams and introducing the people to different genres of food and its items.
