Ride to Chandimandir Cantonment to meet and greet Lt Gen Surinder Singh, AVSM **, VSM, Army Commander, Western Army. This is to wish the Army Commander and through him, all the Gallant Officers, JCOs and Jawans of the Western Army, our sincere good wishes and greetings for the oncoming VIJAY DIWAS day on 16 December. A day on which in 1971, the valiant Indian Army achieved the most historic victory over Pakistan in erstwhile East Pakistan, capturing 93000 Pakistani soldiers and carving a new nation “Bangladesh”. We salute the heroic deeds of our gallant soldiers.

Ride in Chandimandir cantonment to be led by Brig. HPS Bedi(retd), one of the youngest cyclegirians on the block.
